Your photo is sent to the providers that generate the reading (Anthropic for language, Deepgram for voice) and then deleted from our servers. A reading across eight psychological dimensions — willpower, emotional depth, shadow material, resilience, creative drive, hidden tension, relational capacity, life-force expression — roughly 2,000–3,000 words, delivered as a sealed PDF and a linked page in your room. If the reading fails to generate, you are not charged. If the reading arrived incomplete or something is technically wrong with it, email support@petals.app within fourteen days for a full refund — each message is read. Any phone or webcam works. Daylight or steady indoor light is fine; no sunglasses, no heavy filter, one clear view of your face. If the scan quality is insufficient, the system asks for another before the reading runs.
